ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the fully equipped Fusion II 500 and Fusion II 300 gaming headsets. Features such as advanced virtual 7.1 surround sound, high-resolution ESS 9280 Quad DAC™ technology, and an ASUS ASUS AI Beamforming microphone with AI-powered noise cancellation enable immersive sounds and clear communication in games.
ROG Fusion II series headsets feature advanced virtual 7.1 surround sound, high-resolution ESS 9280 Quad DAC™ technology, and 50 mm ASUS Essence drives. Among the few gaming headsets using ESS 9280 Quad DAC technology, these models deliver lossless sounds to gamers. The processing power of each DAC is assigned to a specific part of the audible frequency range. Dacs are assigned to low, medium, high and ultra-high frequencies, resulting in clear, smooth and realistic sounds.
ASUS AI Beamforming microphones with AI-powered noise cancellation get human sounds very clearly and naturally with minimal distortion. These microphones create a 40-degree acoustic area in front of the player’s mouth, filtering background noise from other directions and ensuring clear transmission of speech sound. AI-powered noise cancellation reduces more than 500 million types of background noise, such as keyboard and mouse audio, by up to 95%.
Rog Fusion II 500’s In-Game Chat volume control allows the headset to balance gaming sounds and speech to the user’s preference with the sliding button.
Both models feature Aura RGB lighting. This gives players access to 16.8 million color combinations and six different presets via Armoury Crate. Armoury Crate software’s convenient interface also provides a wide range of control options, audio profile and lighting settings.
Rog Fusion II 500 features a 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C® and USB Type-A connections; compatible with computers, mobile devices and game consoles. The Fusion II 300 is almost identical to the Fusion II 500 and has no 3.5mm audio connection.
