Publisher Atari and developer Digital Eclipse have announced Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam). The collection version will be released this winter.
Atari is celebrating 50 years of the spark that launched the modern video game industry. It’s been 50 years since a small team in Silicon Valley unleashed their creativity, curiosity, and passion through video games and hardware. The result of their efforts paid off. Atari has become the world’s most recognizable and enduring brand.
Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration features more than 90 games. You can take a trip to the past with this version, which is a large archive. The huge library was included in the collection by the Digital Eclipse team. This collection offers a deep look at the history of video games.
Some of the games in the collection:
– Quadratank: First new entry in the classic Tank battle series since 1978.
– Yars’ Revenge Reimagined: Howard Scott Warshaw’s masterpiece gets a whole new look. You can switch between original and modern graphics at any time.
– Swordquest: AirWorld: After nearly 40 years of waiting, the Digital Eclipse team has revealed the fourth and final game in the legendary Swordquest series, inspired by the design concepts of original Swordquest creator Tod Frye.
