Atlus’ Soul Hackers countdown page, which opened last week, has come to an end and the new game Soul Hackers 2 has been officially announced. There’s something very important about this announcement, because a game from Atlus will be coming to the Xbox platform for the first time!
Soul Hackers 2 will be released on August 25, 2022 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, originally released in 1997, was a side game from Megami Tensei and the second in the Devil Summoner series.
In a survey last year, Atlus asked “do you want our games to be available on Xbox platforms?” In 2020, Atlus introduced Persona 4 Golden, which remained a PlayStation Vita exclusive for eight years, to PC players.
It’s great news for us that Atlus wants to take a broader perspective on the platform. Now it’s time to announce Persona 5 for PC, isn’t it, my dear Atlus?
