Atomic Heart, which has been among the highly anticipated games since its debut, is now in the final stages. The update to the frequently asked questions section on the game’s official Discord channel shed light on some of the game’s curious points.
The first thing that comes to mind, of course, is when the game will come out. There is no clear explanation yet, but now that we have been told that the process of ‘polishing and putting the finishing touches’ has started, we must be at the end.
One of the shared information is about different endings. It was said that the game would have two different endings, but it was also made clear that there was no NSO. The developer team specifically emphasizes that Atomic Heart has a line line line story and that no diversity should be expected in this regard. The detail that leads us to 2 different endings here is a moral choice presented to us towards the end of the game. The producers chose such a way to encourage actors to discuss the theme presented throughout the story.
Another issue concerns the performance of the game. The developer team says the game works well on PS4 and delivers stable performance. Of course, it would be appropriate for them to take precautions from the front to prevent a repeat of the disaster in Cyberpunk 2077. They should be aware of this themselves, and they say that they are doing their best to optimise in order to provide a reasonable performance to the players in low configurations.
While it was stated that there will be no loading screen in the game, it was noted that they left the decision on additional packages after the game’s release.
They’ve been developing the game since 2018, so it’s a three-year development process. We are very looking forward to what kind of game will come out, we are following it very closely.
