Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, developed by Ubisoft, is among the games we are eagerly awaiting. According to the previously announced timetable, this wait would end in fiscal year 2022 (i.e. before March 2023); However, with a new statement made by Ubisoft, we have learned that this process will be a little longer, the game has been postponed to the next financial year starting after March 2023.
In the statement; “As we see this global brand as a significant opportunity for Ubisoft to seize for years to come, we are committed to delivering an immersive experience that takes full advantage of next-generation technology. While this additional development time is a reflection of ongoing constraints in production processes across the gaming industry, we are committed to providing the best experiences for players while ensuring optimal business conditions for our teams that will provide flexibility and keep our productivity at a high level.”
Normally, the game was expected to debut soon with the new Avatar movie, Avatar: The Way of Water, which will be released on December 16, which is apparently the initial plans. But with this latest announcement, it will be at least a few months old, maybe even longer, between the film and the game.
What can I say, I hope that this postponement will be a postponement that allows us to be offered a better game. We are looking forward to it, we are following it closely.
