Marvel’s Avengers was a game with great potential and even no bad work in the story. But when the issue of ‘live service’ came into it, that potential was wasted. His performance, which fell short of expectations, also seems to have weakened our chances of seeing a proper Avengers game in the coming years.
Why did I feel the need to log in with Marvel’s Avengers, after all, babylon’s fall, right? Because there’s a big resemblance. Square Enix may not have learned enough from Marvel’s Avengers, but we’re looking at a similar picture.
Babylon’s Fall has debuted as of yesterday, and judging by steam data, it’s well behind expectations. According to SteamDB data; The maximum number of simultaneous players on Steam is 650. The players don’t comment very positively on the game either. Some say it’s a bad PSS2 port, some say it’s micropayments. One common criticism is: “A game that normally should be F2P, sold for as much as $60/60€”
Reviews have not yet been shared. I don’t know what’s going to work out that way. But the way the game came out wasn’t very good, it’s pretty clear. Let’s see if Square Enix can learn the lessons this time.
