Turtle Rock’s co-op zombie shooter Back 4 Blood; next term roadmap has been announced. These plans include short-term bug fixes and life-enhancing improvements, but the long-term plans for the original December are intriguing.
Here’s what the studio listed:
- New features, new resource lines, Ridden training ground, holiday seasonal activity
- Story-based solo offline mode
- New card type
- Brand new cards
In 2022, the following innovations are expected:
- New level of difficulty
- New player cards
- New corruption cards
- New co-op mode
- Melee updates
- Life-facilitating improvements
All of these updates will of course be free. But then there are the three story expansions that will be released on the Back 4 Blood annual ticket. The first story, Tunnels of Terror, will feature new Cleaners and Riddens, new types of activity, new cards, special cards, and new weapons. All three story expansions will be published in 2022.
