Rockstar Games announced that Grand Theft Auto Online will close playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on December 16. This means that from this date, the game will no longer be available on the specified consoles. It also announced online services for LA Noire and Max Payne 3 will pull the plug on the same consoles on September 16.

– Shark Cards from Grand Theft Auto Online will no longer be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from this date.

– Grand Theft Auto Online services, including Rockstar Games Social Club and statistics tracking, will no longer be available in all games. (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360)
– All these changes will not affect story modes.
Will I be able to transfer my GTA Online progress on PS3 or Xbox 360 to existing console generations before the services are turned off?
No, I’m afraid that won’t be possible. There are no systems available to transfer character data or progress from these platforms.
