Famous British actor David Warner has died at the age of 80 as a result of complications caused by cancer. In addition to series and movies, we know Warner, who has also worked in the game industry, best known for his role as Jon Irenicus, the iconic villain of Baldur;s Gate 2 and the expansion pack Siege of Dragonspear.
Warner, who has also worked in productions such as The Omen, Titanic, Time Bandits and Tron, has also appeared in series such as Doctor Who, Star Trek and Wallander.
His first role in the game world was Privateer 2: The Darkening;de Rhineheart, in which he worked alongside the likes of John Hurt and Clive Owen. Warner, who later saw in games such as Star Wars: Force Commander, Descent 3 and Star Trek: Klingon Academy, continued his unforgettable role in Baldur’s Gate 2 in Siege of Dragonspear, which was released in 2016.
