Bandai Namco and ILCA have announced the creation of a new studio called Bandai Namco Aces, headquartered in Shinjuku, Tokyo/Japan. As previously announced, ILCA is leading the way in developing the next game in the Ace Combat series.
The Bandai Namco Aces studio, which is 51 percent owned by Bandai Namco and 49 percent owned by ILCA, will leverage the know-how of both companies to deliver high-quality content, including the Ace Combat series.
Vice President Kazutoki Kono said:
“Our creativity is connected to our emotions. We’ve always tried to provide exciting content and services to our fans. In this process, we have found that the essence of entertainment is in our emotions, which are the most important factor in the emergence of our creativity. Activating the emotions of our fans is our most sensitive point.
To maximize the level of entertainment, we want to create a new development environment that creators and fans can create together in the future. Creativity drives fans to action. We aim to create a next-generation entertainment experience where people empathize with each other and share their excitement.”
