Bandai Namco, publisher of Dark Souls and Elden Ring, may collaborate with american fantasy novelist Brandon Sanderson for a new play.
Brandon Sanderson is one of the most important and prolific writers of our time. Even his own series are great in their own right (Sissoylu, for example), a name that, as if that wasn’t enough, played a major role in the continuation and completion of legendary series such as The Wheel of Time. Sanderson, who recently launched a Kickstarter page for four new novels, had another unprecedented success, raising $42 million.
Sanderson opened the package sent to him from Bandai Namco during his live broadcast. This Elden Ring package included a map of Lands Between, a cape, a Malenia figure, a broadsword, as well as a note. Sanderson didn’t read exactly what the note said, but he said:
“They said they wanted to do something together. Actually, that’s what I want. I even have a game idea for them… I can send them this idea and find out what they think.”
Sanderson had an idea for a Soulsborne game, let’s just say. “I always have an idea for everything. Like, what would I do if I did a Soulsborne game? For example, what would I do if I wrote a Magic: The Gathering story; You know what happens when I wonder. I spent four years developing a Magic: The Gathering story when Magic reached out to me and said, “You want to write a story?; “Of course, I’ve already written; I’ll say, “I’m not going to be able
Let’s see when Sanderson presents the soulsborne idea in his mind. “I have this idea, maybe you’ll hear from me soon. I always have ideas,” Sanderson says.
Well, a Soulsborne where we play a story that sanderson can get out of his hands would be incredible. Why wouldn’t there be more when From Software has spoiled us with Elden Ring?
