Recently, some very famous gaming presses claimed that Rockstar Games was developing the GTA Remastered trilogy, and the gaming world was shaken. Although we have learned that GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas will get an official remaster with Unreal Engine, we can only assume that these remasters will not look as impressive as the banned GTA Remastered modes that we will soon see.
Banned GTA Remastered modes look perfect
It is worth noting that these modes shown are prepared for GTA 5 and therefore look excellent (of course, the creators of the modes also have various visual improvements). Let’s take a look at the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas mode, which was first created by a user named “MrVicho13”. This mode, which was still at an early stage about four months ago, did not contain any tasks from within the original game as far as we know. In this mode, where we could play the main character of GTA San Andreas as Carl Johnson, we encountered the famous map of San Andreas.
Another mode prepared for GTA Vice City seemed a little more ambitious. The mode created by the user “Lunchxbles”, which is almost the size of a DLC; It comes with some specially designed interiors, roads, various buildings and 3D neon models. It also features more detailed reflections, brand new models, textures and specially matched traffic lights.
Unfortunately, these modes have been disabled by Take-Two Interactive. If you want to use these modes while playing your GTA 5, it’s worth hurrying while it’s still available for download. The disabling of such GTA Remastered modes was expected by players; Because Rockstar is said to be already developing a GTA Remastered trilogy. Of course, since the remasters under development will not be able to approach the GTA 5 graphics (because they are not remakes), we can say that they will not look as good as these modes that we have seen.
Also, one of the things that makes these GTA Remastered modes look pretty good is that the ray tracing effect is rearranged. There has also been no official announcement from Rockstar Games about the recently rumoured GTA Remastered trilogy.
