Battlefield 2042, the new game in the long-running series 6, has finally been announced. In fact, EA Games shared the first information about the next generation of Battlefield game in new graphics engine testing at its EA Play event last year. That’s because EA Games avoided using the number 6 in its short teaser video for the announcement date, and only featured the main logo of the series. With the official announcement, we also learned that the full name of the game is Battlefield 2042.

The game is set in the future, as revealed in previous leaks. The game will not be a story mode, but its theme is a scenario facing America and Russia. We’re going to lead an elite military unit, and we’re going to have some superpowers. The game, which is about to break out in a new World War II, has support for 128 players in multiplayer modes. The game’s multiplayer maps will feature many locations in scenario mode. In the first place, there will be seven maps, including regions such as a desert in Seoul and Egypt.
There will be storms like dynamic weather changes and tornadoes
Multiplayer mode will feature weapon customization and different munitions
