The release of the anticipated game Battlefield 2042 has unfortunately disappointed players. After a difficult start in many ways, the game did not do what was intended. All the problems of the game were reflected in the review scores and received the lowest score in the series.
The releases of Battlefield games have always been problematic. But these issues were not as extreme and widespread as in Battlefield 2042. DICE’s newest shooter is currently 64-71 Metacritic.
The game’s review scores vary by platform. Xbox Series X/S consoles have the lowest score: 61 points. Then there’s ps5 with 68 points. On the PC platform, it has the highest score with 71 points.
At OpenCritic, things aren’t very encouraging. The game has a total score of 66 according to 104 reviews on the site, which stands out with its more transparent algorithm.
Finally, on Steam, it has the mostly negative label in all reviews. Of the nearly 58,000 reviews, only 34 percent were positive.
