Now I’ve written what procrastination story, when I’ve written it, I’ve become confused. The day doesn’t pass so there’s no news of a new postponement or a claim. Today’s notable procrastination claim concerns Battlefield 2042.
Jeff Grubb, a popular figure in the gaming media, said in a post on his Twitter account yesterday, “News of a new postponement is coming this week,” but did not mention which game. Nick Baker,a YouTuber Dealer and Xbox Era writer, says battlefield 2042 is the game that’s the subject of procrastination claims.
Likewise, Tom Henderson, who has received insider information about Battlefield, says that there are assessments within EA regarding the postponement of Battlefield 2042 and that a postponement can be mentioned in weeks, not months; Hesays he’s heard the game could come in late 2021 .
A similar post has come from another name, Roberto Serrano; He says the Italian branch of GameStop has changed the release date of Battlefield 2042 to December 31, which is usually used as a “placeholder.”
When similar allegations are made by so many names, we inevitably have to take this postponement seriously. Let’s see if there’s an explanation from EA on the matter.
