Battlegrounds Mobile India surpassed 34 million players a week after its official launch on July 2. Battlegrounds Mobile India, developed by South Korean company Krafton, debuted last September in place of pubg mobile, which is banned in the country.
The new game was announced in May and made public earlier this month. Since then, it has peaked with 16 million active users and Krafton has expressed gratitude to the players in India.
The game launched its beta on June 17 and was soon available early for all players. Following its official release on July 2, Krafton shared through a press release that it had surpassed 34 million players in the first week of the game. The developer also shared that the game has seen 16 million active users per day since its launch.
