Beamdog’s new game was broadcast last night; MythForce has been officially announced:
MythForce, a co-op roguelite played from a first-person camera, came up with a trailer that gave us 80s nostalgia; “80s call in the trailer. They want their hero back” confirms that in a sense. In the game, which comes with a visual reminiscent of the cartoons of those years, it looks like we’re going to dive into the dungeons and cut a lot of skeletons:) Whether you’re on your own or up to 4 people, MythForce has its own characteristics, predictably, our heroes, each of whom is of different classes; I don’t know if you’re going to swing a hammer or shoot arrows or spells, but it looks like it’s going to be a fun game.
In MythForce, players will choose between Knight Victoria, Bandit Rico, Maggie the Sorcerer and Hunter Hawkins, finding and using legendary weapons and powerful spells while fighting against the forces of evil. Since the game is a rogue-lite, when you die, you will start your adventure from the beginning and the castle will change. But for the feeling of progress, of course, you will be able to level up with the savings you gained from your previous tour.
We won’t have to wait long for MythForce either, it will be available early on the Epic Games Store on April 20, with four playable heroes in the first version of the game and bastion of the beastlord, the first part of the game.
