Last week on Steam; that is, the list of best-selling games has been announcedbetween 27 September and 3 October. When we look at the list, we see that Amazon’s new massive multiplayer game New World has almost taken over the list. New World topped the list of games released this week.

Best-selling games on Steam last week (September 27 – October 3)

While it’s no surprise that New World, steam’s most-played game with approximately 900,000 players, is currently top, second, third and fifth on the list, the problems it has in the game and on its servers don’t seem to be affecting its successful debut. The Amazon side reported that they were working day and night on the density of servers. We’ll see how Amazon, whose solution finds the‘character creation’screen to be briefly disabled for new players, will follow a roadmap in the future. We also see that fifa 22 and Battlefield 2042, some of the most anticipated names of this year, are also on the list.
