Platinum Games has announced the upcoming closed beta of Babylon;s Fall. The first phase of the closed beta will be exclusive to Steam, ps4 will be added in the second stage, and PS5 owners will be able to participate in the final stage.

The beta test of the game will be opened to Japanese players first. After the beta on July 29, north America will be tested on August 5; And Europe will be closed beta on August 12. The time frame for the tests is four hours in each.

If you have applied for a closed beta, you will receive an invitation depending on the region registered in your Square Enix account.

The reason the first beta is limited in duration is that it consists mainly of software downloads and installations, account openings, initial server and network tests. As the beta phases progress, additional content will be available in the game, but the first tests will be infrastructure-heavy.

Platinum also does not want screenshots and videos to be shared from the first stage of the beta.
