Valve has released a new beta update for Half-Life 2, HL2: Episode One and Half Life 2: Episode Two. This new beta update brings Vulcan support to the game.
The latest beta update from Valve brings support for ultra-wide monitors. It also brings improvements to the FOV setting. (Extends maximum FOV from 90 to 110.) It also includes a number of interface improvements. In addition, this beta update eliminates a number of bugs and issues that the community has reported over the past decade.
With the latest update, players reported experiencing various hang-ups in the game. However, it is thought that such problems will be eliminated in the final update.
