Like all Bethesda games, the skyrim anniversary edition was not without errors. The release of a new version of a game 10 years ago was expected to be more accurate, but the Anniversary Edition has seriously frustrated some gamers, especially with the black screen issue.
Along with the Anniversary Edition, the Skyrim Special Edition has also been promoted to version 1.6, and some changes have been made to the Skyrim Script Extender. As a result of this update, some players started to encounter a black screen problem after uploading their recordings because SSCE was running faster than usual and caused some modes not to have the opportunity to upload their files, resulting in the script being stuck and left on the black screen. The interesting part is that this problem also happens to players who don’t use mode.
In addition, PlayStation users have started to experience the error “you need to free up 0 kb of system storage” that they thought they had left behind years ago.
Bethesda explained that they were aware of both the black screen and the 0kb error, that their team was working to fix them, but that it took longer than they anticipated, yet they hoped to solve both problems as soon as possible. The patch is being prepared, Bethesda said, adding that they are trying to get the patch ready early next week.
If you’re getting a black screen when uploading recordings, you’d better try again by disabling the modes first.
