We’ve all had people who look at life negatively. Such people often have to make much more effort to get what they want. But when it comes to the famous comedian Bill Burr, this misfortune has turned into an interesting chance.
The comedian, who was a guest on the podcast Your Mom;s House, was asked about his role in the first two seasons of The Mandalorian. Burr says he went to director Mike Binder’s house as an invitee, where he met The Mandalorian crew. Jon Favreau and Binder saw themselves as a “chance.”
Burr, who said he backed down after Favreau offered a role on the show, told the director that he had long made jokes that would anger the Star Wars community. Favreau, for his part, believed that burr’s presence on the show would be “just for that reason,” and that this interesting encounter turned into a business deal.
In the podcast, Burr also notes that he doesn’t actually hate Star Wars. According to the famous comedian, this hate business is just professional jokes.
