BioShock developer Irrational Games was shut down in 2014, and then series creator Ken Levine opened a small studio called Ghost Story Games under the umbrella of Take-Two. The first game to come out of the studio is still in development.
Levine said in an interview with Arcade Attack that the game will be officially announced close to release. He also announced the game too soon, saying he didn’t want people to wait years for it.
Levine added: “I don’t want to create hype for the game we’re developing. But I believe this production will give the players a really great experience. We know what we want to do and what we want to achieve. You’ll be surprised when you see the game.”
