Immediately after the allegations, an official statement came from the Overwatch team. One of the game’s spokesmen made an official statement to put an end to the allegations. In this statement, it was underlined that the survey consisted only of a “survey”. So there is a high probability that we will not see these prices at the exit of the game.

The Overwatch team says this survey measures the preferences of different players and their relationship to Overwatch 2 cosmetics. Stating that the prices in the survey vary “according to the user”, the team also underlined that the price tags here are not final.
