Blizzard plans to make new announcements about Hearthstone and Warcraft in the coming days and weeks.
First, three expansion packages for Hearthstone will be released later this year, the first of which will be announced on March 15. Following this new expansion, Hearthstone’s 2022 plans will also be detailed, including core set changes.
Meanwhile, Hearthstone’s director of play, Ben Lee, is leaving hearthstone, although he says this year’s changes are exciting and brand new types of cards are waiting for us. Ben Lee will start a different, yet un announced project in Blizzard.
World of Warcraft’s Shadowlands expansion pack is now over and the latest major patch has been released. Now we’ll find out what’s next on April 19, and on that day, world of warcraft’s new expansion will be announced. Blizzard obviously has to do something different this time to stop the blood loss in World of Warcraft, and it’s a question of where they can take the story from here.
In May, Blizzard will detail the Warcraft mobile game we’ve heard of before. Right now, no one has any idea what kind of game this is, it could be a mobile-adapted version of the original Warcraft real-time strategies, or a match-3 game with characters from Warcraft. All we know about this is that Blizzard said it was “the first Warcraft Universe game designed for mobile.”
Blizzard has been doing things far from exciting players for a long time, so let’s see if they can take steps to change that this year.
