Call of Duty games may be returning to Steam pages. The Activision Steam page is starting to move. Activision, which released the latest COD game to Steam in 2017, announced that Modern Warfare 2 would come to Steam. Now, on the company’s official Steam page, a banner image, a follow button and a tidy game imprint can be seen.
Call of Duty games were last released to the Steam platform in 2017
Activision hadn’t actually left Steam entirely. The Sekiro and the Spyro remake was released on Steam in 2019. However, Call of Duty games and Crash Bandicoot 4 released in the last 4 years were exclusive to Battle.Net, and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 were exclusive to the Epic Games Store. This caused Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Modern Warfare, Warzone, Black Ops: Cold War and Call Of Duty: Vanguard not to come to Steam.
Activision’s return to Steam will of course mean that all these games will come to Steam over time or in bulk. Also, during periods of Steam’s frequent discounts (such as summer sales), the prices of COD games may also decline.
