Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard had just come up with a stolen costume incident in recent weeks, and Activision apologized and closed the matter when it was revealed that the incident was real.
It seems that if Activision doesn’t improve its inspection system, we’ll read more of this kind of news, because now one of the new additions to the game is almost identical to the one in Dr Disrespect;s FPS game Deadrop.
Developed by the Midnight Society, founded by Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm, the PvP game Deadrop uses NFT, and players can have unique costumes thanks to Founders Pass NFT. One of those costumes is one used by former Call of Duty developer Robert Bowling, which is surprisingly similar to one of the new to Call of Duty.

Costume in Call of Duty:
This costume, which was added to Warzone and Vanguard with the Tracer Pack Malware Ultra Pack, is called Doomsayer.
Bowling, also known as fourzerotwo in the Call of Duty community, was a former creative strategist and community manager for Infinity Ward, and now the studio president of Midnight Society.
Bowling replied to the tweet in which the claim was made by saying, “at least if you had given me my name:)”
Let’s see if Activision will apologize again and remove this costume, or if it will get away with saying that “anyone could have come up with the idea of a blue skull hologram, hoodie”.
