Call of Duty League, one of the world’s craziest esports events, is finally returning to physical tournaments. The fact that the pandemic is gradually losing its effects – at least in the rest of the world – means that physical activity will also return. Of course, the Cod League will be among them.
Activision has previously said overwatch will start events, and even announced that three Chinese teams will participate live in this year’s OWL tournament. The world of Call of Duty will move to America, activision’s home base. Major IV will take place at Arlington Stadium in Texas.
Unfortunately, just because the physical tournaments are coming back doesn’t mean the spectators will either. Like any tournament, the CoD League will not accept spectators for a while. Of course, this situation is quite annoying, but it is gratifying to see that gradually the effects of the coronavirus are fading.
