The leak from within the firm indicates that more Call of Duty remaster construction is on the way. Activision has made updates to the series for years, but has only remastered two Call of Duty games. Both remasters come from the Modern Warfare trilogy, but the publisher noted that it does not even work on a remaster for Modern Warfare 3. If it happens, all the games of the trilogy will appear once again in a renewed form.
Call of Duty new remasters on the way
Activision is also planning more Call of Duty remasters for next year, according to ralphsvalve, a company employee. Call of Duty says Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty: World at War are games being considered by Activision. In addition, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered is also being considered for the Nintendo Switch.

All these potential renewals will be used to fill the gap between the new Call of Duty versions. After Microsoft acquired the firm, it was reported that there would be no new Call of Duty game coming out next year, but Activision has not yet officially confirmed this.
The firm is expected to launch Call of Duty: Warzone 2 next year, although it has not yet given a clear date. A sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released later this year.
