The first official details about Call of Duty Vanguard, which has long been rumored to be both his name and his past, have been shared. Vanguard will take the COD series back for the seventh time to the second world war era. This time, however, it will be about an alternative story that began in 1945, following hitler’s death.
Call of Duty Vanguard to house Hitler’s heir
The Sledgehammer studio, which last developed Call of Duty: WW2 in 2017, will start the time frame once the war officially ends. After Hitler’s death and the Nazis lost the war, allied countries were informed of a project – “Project Phoenix”- that spread fear into them. The aim of the project is to prepare “Hitler’s heied”.
Vanguard’s main villain is a man named Heinrich Freisinger ( adapted from Heinrich Müller)who was introduced as Hitler’s heir in 1945. In Vanguard’s story mode, as with most COD games, we’ll lead a special, small team. Allied countries will bring together 4 experts from 4 different countries to deal with this problem;
- Arthur Kingsley (Great Britain)
- Polina Petrova (Soviet Union)
- Wade Jackson (U.S.)
- Lucas Riggs (Australia)
Shown in the 8-minute demo of the game, it is stated that privacy is given more importance than usual in COD games. The game will use the game engine of Modern Warfare 2019. Sledgehammer has not yet shared details about the game’s multiplayer features.
Call of Duty: Vanguard’s official release date was announced as November 5, 2021.
