When you lose your life for the first time in the game, you go to the Gulag, and if you win your 1v1 battle there, you come back. With the new season, this Gulag will change the environment it passes.
Activision also released a roadmap for the new Warzone and Black Ops Cold War update during the day, sharing details of the Gulag update. With the new season, our Gulag battles will be moved to a new map. Black Ops 2 players know this map very well: Hijacked.
We’ll only have the opportunity to experience this new layout of the Gulag on Friday, but hijacked’s famous boots won’t be available in the Gulag, according to the studio. However, players who know this region well will not be too alienated.
