Ricochet, an anti-cheat system that has been the focus of controversy since its inception, is finally entering the PC ranks. Activision, which has been in trouble with cheaters since warzone’s debut, will keep the cheat away from the servers with this system to be installed on the hardware.
Ricochet is actually very similar to the Vanguard system that Riot Games uses in its own FPS; Valorant. This system, which is authorized to scan all files on your computer, will automatically ban you when it detects any content that allows you to manipulate the game. Let’s also mention that the system will only work when Call of Duty: Warzone is on.
The software will first be used in Asia-Pacific countries. The system will then be installed on all computers shortly.
