A Age of Sigmar RPG game is developed by partnership between Nexon and Games Workshop but the project was cancelled last year. This game worked on a studio called Thought Pennies was designed to output on PC, consoles and mobile platforms. The project prepared to provide an epic PvE experience in Mortal Realms was removed from the shelf due to the strategic changes of Nexon.

This Warhammer project, announced in
2021, aimed at delivering a story-oriented PvE experience, which will fight against chaos forces by commanding players Sigmar’s warriors. In the game, each would be able to collect characters with unique stories and game mechanics, and retrace different regions by customizing these characters. This social multiplayer game, which was planned to be updated regularly with new seasons, was supported with Nexon’s Live Operations system.
Thought Pennies spokesperson, in the statement he made to Eurogamer, “Our partnership with Nexon was moving well and received many positive feedback. But with Nexon’s strategic change decision, we decided to finalize the project,” he used expressions.
Home Warhammer phase continues to expand despite this cancellation. Games Workshop announced that the last year has been working on new projects after Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Also, thanks to the collaboration with Amazon Studios, Warhammer will meet the movie and television adaptations of the universe soon with viewers.
