Yoshinori Ono, a legendary figure at Capcom, announced last year that he had decided to leave Capcom, where he had worked for 30 years. Ono, who has been producing the Street Fighter saga for many years, has a new job.
Delightworks announced that Yoshinori Ono will begin serving as the studio’s new president and COO as of May 1. Akihito Shouji, founder and current president of Delightworks, will continue as CEO of the studio from now on.
Delightworks is the developer of Fate/Grand Order, one of the most successful games on mobile. The game’s revenues exceeded $4 billion by the end of 2019.
The studio will release the recently announced game Melty Blood: Type Lumina later this year.
