Capcom announced the compilation, called the Capcom Fighting Collection. This compilation includes 10 retro fighting games that gained notoriety at the time. Some of these games were left only on arcade machines, and some had never even come to the West.
For example, the compilation also includes five arcade games from the Darkstalker series, of which Vampire Hunter 2 and Vampire Savior 2 will be out of Japan for the first time.
The collection also includes the fantasy-themed Red Earth, which has never been seen outside of arcade machines.
Here’s a full list of games in the Capcom Fighting Collection:
- Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
- Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
- Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire
- Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
- Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire
- Red Earth
- Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness
- Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
- Hyper Street Fighter II
All of these games will have online game support, ranked, casual and custom matches will be available.
In addition, the package will include drawings, music, concepts and design documents related to the games. Over 400 pieces of music from ten games are among those we will have with this collection. I wish Capcom would keep the price of this compilation affordable, but usually Capcom games are a little salty for us, unfortunately.
Capcom Fighting Collection will be released on June 24 for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
