Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. announced today that Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls has received a Halloween-themed update. This update comes on Apple’s popular gaming subscription service Apple Arcade, which offers free access to more than 200 premium games.

Added Halloween-themed levels to grimoire of souls’ order mode, where players can move forward by forming groups of up to five characters to reach the top floor. Hp and MP’s of characters who successfully pass the chapter will be moved to the next level, which will add an extra level of difficulty to the game. Therefore, players will have to consider the type of episode, the different characteristics of the level and the remaining HP/MP of the character before deciding which character to use. Each cleared floor will offer a higher in-game prize than the previous one. Although the added episodes coincide with Halloween, they will be permanent in the game.
The game will also feature Halloween-specific coins, in which players will be able to buy a variety of items, such as costumes, weapons or armor.
The special entry bonus, the first of the year-round login campaigns, will be valid from October 22nd to November 15th. Players who enter the game during this campaign have the chance to win a total of 14 extra prizes; players who enter the game 14 times during this time will receive all the rewards.
