Japanese developer Cave has announced the development of a new Touhou Project game. There aren’t many details about the new game. However, the game is scheduled for release in 2022.
Cave has developed several more games of the same genre as Touhou Project games. These productions include the DonPachi series. The latest DonPachi game Resurrection was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016.
Cave will develop the game under the IP of Touhou Project games. As mentioned earlier, the game will be shoot’em up type.
