Developer and broadcaster CD Projekt has acquired Boston-based studio The Molasses Flood. So far, the terms of the deal have not been announced.
Founded in 2014, The Molasses Flood is best known for survival games, including The Flame in the Flood, released in 2016, and Drake Hollow, released in 2020.
The studio will work closely with the Cyberpunk maker, but will retain its current identity. He will also continue to work independently on his upcoming project.
Starting next year, the studio plans to work on multiple AAA games and expansions at the same time.
