New statements came from the CD Projekt RED team, which came to the forefront with The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077 game. CD Projekt RED president and CEO Adam Kicinski announced in a statement that the company is working on two AAA games.
Kicinski added: “We want to bring you back a world that is an integral part of CD Projekt’s history. As announced last year, CD Projekt RED is working on two AAA projects.”
One of the two AAA games under development at CD Projekt RED will be the next game in The Witcher series. The new game from The Witcher series was confirmed to be in early development earlier this year. It is not known what the second AAA game is.
The company also announced this week that it is working on a Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. The new expansion will be released in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Google Stadia.
