Championship League Final Name: fastPay Wildcats – Galatasaray Esports

     

 

The semi-final stage of the Championship League was completed with matches played on 2 and 3 April. After two dominant performances, fastPay Wildcats and Galatasaray Esports made it to the final.

 

In the first matchup of the semifinals, Dark Passage and Galatasaray Esports played their cards. Galatasaray Esports, who finished second in the league stage, were the favourites in the series, but Dark Passage’s beautiful play in the quarter-finals showed what a dangerous team they are.

 

Dark Passage tried to lay out its lower corridor-oriented game plan from the first minutes of the series, as it did in the quarterfinals. But the well-prepared Galatasaray Esports responded correctly and welcomed the DP’s aggressiveness. He managed to outsmn his opponents with counter-raids and under-tower defenses. Dark Passage won in Game 3, but failed to repeat it, and the winner was Galatasaray Esports with a score of 3-1.

 

FastPay Wildcats and Info Investment Aurora played in Sunday’s 2nd semifinal. FastPay Wildcats, who took the lead with their impressive play throughout the league stage, had the right to choose their opponent as the top seed. IW, which selected Info Investment Aurora, which struggled at times in the quarterfinals, undoubtedly emerged as the favorite in the series.
