Fifa Ultimate Team has long been a major part of FIFA and one of electronic arts’ most important sources of revenue. However, it seems the EA thinks it would be better for them to stay away from FUT and therefore Fifa at a time when the Fifa Ultimate Team is being discussed as a “gamble.”

Children should be kept away from Fifa Ultimate Team, EA executive says

EA has introduced the Ultimate Team preview package system to replace Ultimate Team’s over-luck and gambling-like system,which will continue in FIFA 22. As for FUT’s extremely popular with young players, EA administrator Chris Bruzzo said:

“Children should not spend money on our game, fifa. When we look at our player age group, we can see that a very low percentage of player accounts are under 18 years of age. More importantly, we have a system that prevents under-18s from spending in the game. We are also working with Microsoft and Sony to control children’s play spending.”

Electronic Arts is said to be planning to change FIFA’s name, as PES did, by breaking the agreement with FIFA.
