Torn Banner Studios, Tripwire and Deep Silver have announced that Chivalry 2 has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide since its release on June 8. Chivalry 2 thus became the fastest selling game ever from developer Torn Banner.
The sales figures were released after the release of House Galencourt, the first in a series of planned free content updates. This update includes two new maps, a brand new 3v3 game mode, the popular arrow camera feature from the original Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, more than 60 customization options, and more.
The Chivalry 2 community was reactivated after the game’s release, and over 8 million hours of game time were recorded in a short time. More than 420 million fighters have also been killed in all wars since its release.
