While we are at it with the Anthology package, we decided to continue our leadership proposals for Civilization VI, we have prepared a list of 5 leaders for you; Let’s see if you like it. If you have suggestions, we’ll wait for your comments.
If you recall, exactly one year ago, we wrote Civilization VI – 5 Leader Recommendations for The Beginning. The names we chose in that article were Trajan (Rome), Qin Shi Huang (China), Teddy Roosevelt (America), Gandhi (India) and, of course, Tomris Hatun (Scythians). These recommendations also apply to Civilization VI Anthology. So when we add that article, we can say that we have a list of 10 leaderships in total.
Mansa Musa (Mali)
Mansa Musa, the legendary leader of the Malian Empire, is known as one of the richest leaders in history. That’s his biggest advantage in the game; his enormous wealth and his advantage over the gold mines. Mali has an extra gain from the desert sections of the map; in places adjacent to the desert it gets +1 food and +1 faith. Not to mention the ability to buy a commercial center with faith points. Trade is the most comfortable way to develop for Mali, it can be called the best source of income. If you have built or expanded your city on desert land, you can earn extra gold in your trade from this city. This is not enough, when you move to the Golden Age, your trade route capacity increases by 1 unit. You see, when you build cities in the desert and build commercial centers there, you’ll be in a position to go through the golden gucts and buy whatever’s left. In this respect, Mansa Munsa is one of the most advantageous leaders in the game.
Kristina (Sweden)
Let’s continue with Sweden, another of the game’s most advantageous civilizations. As we mentioned in our previous Civilization articles, there are different paths to victory, one of which is culture. That’s where Sweden has the most advantage. The great personalities in the game (Great People) come with their own special bonuses, and only one great personality can be found in each game. Kristina is perhaps the most advantageous leader in the game in raising these great personalities. Every time you get a great personality, you get +50 diplomacy points, and every time you build a factory and university, you get a score of great engineers and great scientists. Sweden’s exclusive Open-Air Museum earns culture and tourism points for each city you own on different plots. When you build Goverment Plaza, you can walk away with bonuses for every round of extra writers, painters, musicians, great work. In short, it’s not like Almost every feature of Kristina puts you in a strong position in the field of culture and diplomacy, and in this respect, de Kristina becomes one of the best leaders you can choose to achieve cultural victory in the game.
Alexander The Great (Macedonia)

When we say Alexander the Great, of course, those famous expeditions come to mind first. That’s the main thing about the game; he has a lot of advantages in wars. Under normal circumstances, you may face some disadvantages due to not being ready for battle. As the wars drag on, production decreases, unrest begins to be seen in cities, etc. But when it comes to Alexander; The cities under his wing are always ready for war:) In other words, the “War Weariness” issue is no longer a serious problem for you. When you take over a city, you have the advantage of healing all your wounded units. As we said in our previous article, tomris hatun can have an advantage in battles with Saka Archers; Here are some very powerful units like Hetairoi and Hypaspist. Therefore, if you say that I will reach for victory in battle, alexander the great is one of the strongest leaders you can choose.
Kupe (Maori)
Kupe has his own, interesting trait. Every tour you take without establishing your first city earns you +2 science and culture points. If you take the risk and keep this period long, you will have accumulated a lot of points and become advantageous when you build your city. When you build your first city, there are some extras from it, such as the free labor unit and the +1 population. Of course, the advantages are not limited to these. When you develop your civilization and become a country of several cities, you can enjoy seeing the bonuses you can get. If your settlements; If it is built on marshes, geothermal zones, forests, oases, reefs, you get extra culture and faith points from these places. Even the volcano returns to you as a +1 tourist score 🙂 If you say that’s not enough, try the culture bomb, so you can even transform the land, whatever it is, 🙂 Long story short, Kupe is one of the best leadership choices for those who want to reach for cultural victory.
Seondeok (Korea)
Korea is one of the most scientificly advantaged civilizations in the game. The campus is being replaced by your special regions called Seowon, which gives a +4 science score, each specialization adds +2 to it, and even the mines adjacent to this area produce science 🙂 Of course, there’s got to be a downside to that; You can’t build other zones next to Seowon, otherwise these bonuses will evaporate in an instant 🙂 You’ve appointed governors to cities, so let’s get them here, cultural and science bonuses. I mean, science is gushing out almost everywhere:) You see, Korea is an advanced civilization in science. You can reach victory with knowledge and wisdom before the other civilizations on the map even open their eyes.
Lady Six Sky (Maya)
In fact, I am am undecided here between Korean leader Seondeok and Mayan leader Lady Six Sky, after all, both leaders who can similarly make you advantageous in the field of science. Another area where Lady Six Sky has an advantage is that it is also strong militarily early in the game. Lady Six Sky’s unique feature is that cities you don’t declare capital are free workers and get a bonus in production if they’re close enough to the capital. As in the case of Korea, they have a more advantageous special region than the campus, which can be written in the plus digits, so you can collect science scores faster. One drawback of playing with the Mayans is that, predictably, it lacked some strategic resources as it was a relatively small civilization with the Industrial Age. If you are one of those who say, “Let me go with a strong civilization at the beginning of the game, we will take care of the aftermath”, Lady Six Sky and the Mayan Empire may also be among your choices.
