Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Naughty Dog have shared a concept sketch of The Last of Us’ indie multiplayer game.
Speaking during the Summer Game Fest 2022 livestream event, Naughty Dog president Neil Druckmann said of the game: “What I can tell you is that this game is huge. I can say that it is even bigger than our single-player games we made. The game has a story. The way we tell this story will also be unique to this game.
The game also has a whole new cast of characters. The game is set in a region of the United States, and that’s really cool. The game is being developed by people who have worked on Uncharted and The Last of Us. The management team includes Vinit Agarwal, Anthony Newman and Joseph Pettinati. We’ll be looking forward to more about this game next year.”
The platforms of the game have not yet been announced.
