Creative Assembly, the developer of Total War: Warhammer 3, shared information about the new factions that will be added to the game, possibly by accident, during the video it has released about the new update Immortal Empires.
The video features Q&A with those working on the game, and when Total War’s Mitchell Heastie starts talking about the glory conditions, the scene on the screen contains names that the actors haven’t seen before.
Heastie pauses on the Domination Campaign Victory page as it scrolls down, which contains the names of factions that must be destroyed to achieve victory. Here are four of those names that haven’t been seen before in the game:
Ecstatic Legions, Fecundites, Legion of the Gorequeen and Puppets of Misrule.
After this leak exploded on Twitter and Reddit, of course, players began to brainstorm when we would see these factions. There is also debate about who will be at the head of these new factions, but the strongest candidates are:
- Ecstatic Legions – Azazel the Prince of Damnation
- Fecundites – Festus the Leechlord
- Legion of the Gorequeen – Valkia the Bloody
- Puppets of Misrule – Vilitch the Curseling
Crative Assembly, of course, did not make a statement on the subject:) You can watch the relevant episode from 9:53 onwards:
The Immortal Empires update will be released on August 23, 2022. Here’s the description of the update:
Immortal Empires is the culmination of the Total War: WARHAMMER series. It combines campaign maps, races, and factions from all three games into a single, epic sandbox campaign. This is the most complete and precise Warhammer strategy experience ever designed!
