The beloved rhythm and roguelike genre Crypt of the Necrodancer received its first update last July after five years. This update was of course made to make way for the real surprise of the developer Brace Yourself Games team. The team, which started live broadcasting yesterday evening, introduced the new DLC of the game and the new game they developed.
First, let’s talk about the new DLC called Synchrony. With this additional pack, three new characters will be added to the game. In co-op and online multiplayer modes, the number of players increases to 8 people. In addition, mod support, even a mod hub that you can access directly from within the game, is added to the game.
The team’s new game was shown at the end of the presentation, albeit a small one. The developer, who surprised everyone with the Rift of the Necrodancer logo, officially announced that he was developing a rhythm game that would take place in the Necrodancer universe. Unfortunately, we don’t have any more details about the game, but we’re sure we’ll learn more in the coming days.
