Crytek Hunt: Showdown warns players who are using a bug in the LeMat Mark 2 pistol to their advantage. Users who use the bug in the game to make the pistol tremendously powerful will also face the consequences.
Crytek warns; Hunt: Don’t spoil the Showdown LeMat Mark 2
LeMat is a pistol that has a capacity of 9 cartridges in the game and can shoot both normal bullets and pumped cartridges. However, it can be as accurate as a gun in normal mode and as powerful as a pump in pump mode. Of course, the players again found a way to lift the curtains between them.
If you try hard enough, you can turn it into the deadliest weapon in Hunt: Showdown. Of course, Crytek also says that players who do this will face the consequences. If the gun enters today, it is as powerful as a shotgun, but the scattering in the cartridge it squeezes moves without dissipating, acting like a normal pistol bullet. This is not a pleasant situation when you come face to face.
On the Hunt: Showdown subreddit page and Steam discussions, players have expressed that they are suffering from this situation, and Crytek shared the following statements in a post on Twitter immediately after:
“Hunters, we are aware of the problems associated with LeMat. Our team is aware of the incident and is actively working to resolve this bug. We will release a hotfix patch in the coming days. Keep an eye on the news of the time when the servers will shut down to fix the error.”
Crytek Social Media Manager Bence Hamos also tweeted, “Please note that this abuse can be detected and may lead to action against the abuser’s account.”
While players welcomed the news of this correction, it wasn’t enough for some. Some players think that the weapon should be disabled until it works normally, and that the bugs should be added to the game after they are completely corrected.
