CW;s passion for the superhero genre first began with Arrow and Flash. The “CW Cinematic Universe”, which is growing day by day, is home to many superhero series at this point. Although interest in all of these series has declined recently, CW will continue to shoot superhero-themed series.
As you know, CW; Legends of Tomorrow pulled the plug on Batwoman and Naomi. But the platform’s CEO, Mark Pedowitz, has officially announced that they will continue their superhero series despite these “misfortunes.” According to Deadline, CW has given the green light to many of the projects.
For example, the platform will host the Gotham Knights in the near future. For the 2022-2023 period, The Flash will return with its 9th season. In the same period, Superman & Lois and Stargirl series will enter their 3rd season. Although it has nothing to do with superheroes, it should be noted that the side series of projects such as Supernatural and Walker, which are identified with CW, are on the way.
