The PvP servers for the PC versions of Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls 2, and Dark Souls 3 were temporarily disabled in January following a serious vulnerability issue. After more than 4 months, the team announced that the servers will be back online.
FromSoftware has officially confirmed that it is working to bring its PvP servers back online. But it didn’t reveal exactly when the servers would be turned on.
In a statement to PC Gamer, FromSoftware reported: “We are currently in the process of reactivating online PC servers for the Dark Souls series. We are working to complete the necessary work to correct the problem. Once we finish working, we will bring back the servers for Dark Souls 3. We plan to gradually restore the online service for each game in the series.
As soon as we complete our work, we will provide you with additional updates. We want to thank all of our players for their patience and understanding in trying to solve this problem.”
