Dead By Daylight,which managed to combine the horror factor with the multiplayer genre, reached 105,093 instant players on the evening of June 30th. The game, which is in its fifth year, has broken its own record with the event and Steam discounts coinciding with the same moment.

As part of the fifth anniversary of Dead By Daylight, players are given plenty of purses from Bloodpoints, the in-game currency. During the week after the event begins, players entering the game will have the opportunity to win a series of awards, including 500,000 one-off Bloodpoints and 9,000 Iridescent Shards.
